U.S. CattleTrace Accepting Applications for 2024 Symposium Interns
U.S. CattleTrace is now offering college students an exclusive experience to learn about animal disease traceability through their 2024 Symposium internship program.
The 2024 U.S. CattleTrace Symposium will take place Nov. 18th and 19th in Kansas City, Missouri.
Three interns will be selected and will be responsible for assisting in setting up the facility, posting on social media, recording sessions, aiding room leaders during breakout sessions, and interacting with cattle and technology industry leaders.
In addition to responsibilities during the event, interns will learn about U.S. CattleTrace and animal disease traceability in the country from U.S. CattleTrace staff prior and after the event.
Student interns must be available Nov. 17th - 20th. This is a non-paid internship. Interns travel will to and from the event and rooms and meals will be coordinated and provided by U.S. CattleTrace.
Applicants must have a minimum 3.0 GPA, should have a working knowledge of the cattle industry and be a current student majoring in an agricultural related major at a college or university. Interns will be selected based on their livestock background, academic performance, career goals, desire to learn and work ethic.
